ALONNISOS

A unique place that stands out for its incomparable natural beauty, rich history and cultural heritage. Fishing, hiking, visiting the islands of Europe’s largest water park, kayaking, canoeing, diving and above all relaxation, are the characteristics of this wonderful place.
PATITIRI

The largest and busiest port of Alonissos. It offers many facilities (water, markets, taverns) for the sailors that anchor in it. The quietest of the three large islands of the Northern Sporades, ideal for moments of calm and relaxation. Those who choose it, can also visit the nearby Old Town of Alonissos.

KOKKINOKASTRO COVE

Very quiet cove which is considered one of the most impressive beaches of Alonissos. The many shades of the landscape, the blue sea, the reddish rocks, the yellow sand, the colorful pebbles and the green pines give special notes. Limited benefits. Excavations in the area showed that there was an ancient settlement.

MOURTIAS

Beautiful spot for lunch next to the crystal clear waters. It offers peace and quiet to the visitor due to the untouched natural beauty.

RUSSUM GIALOS

Another beautiful and picturesque bay of Alonissos – between Patitiri and Votsi – with crystal clear green waters, taverns and accommodation.

VOTSI PORT

A small port, offered as an alternative option if Patitiri is complete. Blue waters, but limited facilities. Fish tavern operation. Ideal for a lunch gastronomic excursion.

TZORTZI GIALOS

With the reputation of the most idyllic view in Alonissos, Tzortzi Gialos offers a heavenly oasis for calm, relaxation, swimming and diving.

LEFTOS GIALOS

The most popular destination for young people, as there operate beach-bars for ultimate fun. The beautiful natural landscape with the gray rocks, the white pebbles, the view to the two desert islands (the Two Brothers) and the fruitful blue sea complete the image of the most exotic choice of the island.

STENI VALA

A very popular port for sailors opposite the desert island of Peristera. A fishing village nestled between dense pine forests and golden green olive groves. Panoramic view of the uninhabited islands scattered in the sea.

PERISTERA

Deserted island that is part of the Marine Park of the Northern Sporades. Prehistoric relics and ancient tombs have been found there, while the lacy beaches of the island and the geomorphology between Alonissos and Peristera are an ideal place for sea excursions. The coves of Vasiliko, Kokkalias and Peristeri are offered for mooring.

PLANITIS

The most beautiful natural port of the area. It looks like a lake due to its closed shape and offers the quietest anchorage. On clear nights one can observe the galaxy from one end of the horizon to the other.

VASILIKO

Excellent shelter from the meltemia.

KOKKALIAS

Limited capacity port ideal for protection from meltemia.

PERISTERI

The most suitable shelter from Meltemia on the south side of the island of Peristera.

KYRA-PANAGIA

Shelter from the meltemia.

MONASTIRI COVE

Beautiful port near the post-Byzantine monastery (dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin) on the east coast. It worths a hike to get to know the Byzantine side of the Sporades up close.
