A bay that opens its arms to the north, where the eye does not meet any land. Although this is a sandy beach, does not resemble the calm beaches of southern Skiathos: the sand is thicker, it has more pebbles, the beach waters deepens gradually, they are crystal clear and the impressive landscape is wonderful. This very beautiful, relatively isolated and small sandy beach Small Aselinos is situated about 16 kilometers northwest of the town of Skiathos, on the northwest coast of the island within an open bay to the north. Here you have the option to come to swim away from the bustle of the cosmopolitan resorts of the south coast and feel the wild beauty of nature next to you, with the beautiful rock formations.
At the northeast end of the island is the beach Lalaria, one of the most beautiful in Greece, with steep purely white cliffs, white pebbles called “lalaria” which cover the whole beach and the famous “Tripia Petra” on the edge of the beach. The wild beauty of the landscape and really clean sea will truly enchant you. Certainly a swim there is a unique experience not to be missed.
This bay was originally called Krassa but got this name from the nudist beach which used to be there. It is beach with rich sand and pines that complete the beautiful landscape in a unique way and a very clean sea. The beach has become a meeting place for many young people, as it offers opportunity to get into in all sports and it has beach bar, taverns and cafes for endless fun.
The Arkos is one of the four islands of Skiathos and has only one beach that is approximately one and a half nautical mile from the Old Port. It is a beautiful island but usually deserted. Apart from the beautiful beach, you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Skiathos.
